About The King’s School
For almost 200 years, The King’s School has committed itself to the development and growing of global thought leaders.
At King’s, every boy has the opportunity to lead and to be challenged and trained in developing his leadership capacity. That means that those graduating from The King’s School are able to take up their roles and responsibilities throughout the world in living lives of service for the sake of others.
A King’s education is distinguished by three pillars – Academic Excellence, Character Development and Christian Community. The School’s Scholarship Program is also geared around seeking candidates who are academic, character and community minded.
The King’s School offers a range of Scholarships and Bursaries for boys entering Years 7 to 11. Shortlisted candidates will be chosen from those with test results in the top 1% (Allwell Academic Assessment Services conducts testing on-site at the School), with these candidates invited to an interview to further their application. They will also be assessed on their ability to contribute to the co-curricular program of the School. Bursaries are also awarded, largely to country applicants for boarding places, and are means-tested.
Applications for 2023 entry can be found online through the School’s website at www.kings.edu.au, with applications open until Friday 4 February 2022. Testing will be conducted on Sunday 13 February 2022.
